Visiting Sardinia: Alghero Old Town

After a few days of the beach and sun,we decided to walk into the Old Town of Alghero to see the famous sea walls, churches, and of course, more gelato.

There were lots of vendors lining the streets. I particularly loved this little orange stand.

We found these gorgeous blue doors and took obligatory door photos. It also looks like Greece with the white walls.

Every single shop/restaurant in town had these arched brick ceilings which I loved.

And gorgeous red coral was in every shop and sold by every street vendor.

Although the streets were winding, this little motorized tour train squeaked right though all the twists and turns.

We heard great things about this gelato shop, so made a point to try three flavors each. My favorite was the melon (it tasted like fresh melon!) and of course nutella.

We checked out a few restaurants for dinner and then headed back for some beach time. It was such cute little town. We had two dinners in the town which I'll share next time. Ciao!
