Good Vibrations

It was 80 degrees here the past 3 days. I'm running around in shorts and skirts and open toed sandals and loving every second of it. The next thing I need is a summer music list to listen to on the beach, at the pool, and the loooong traffic filled drives to each. Oh DC, I love and hate you.


My Body by Young the Giant is a good start.

Young blood by The Naked and the Famous rocks.

 Dear Miami by Roisin Murphy is just funky.

A good remix is key for summer and Opposite of Adults by Chiddy Bang is just fun.

A bit of a folksy vibe which works well with maxi skirts and chunky jewelry in the breeze.

Just Can't Get Enough

Do you ever fall in love with something and can't stop thinking about them (or looking at it every chance you get)? These YSL sandals have done it to me and I simply can't look away.

And they look even better on. They've bee around since '07 and are iconic for sure.

I hope you had a great Easter weekend! I spent mine up in the Poconos with the family.
It was hysterical as usual with some mishaps and a healthy dose of comedic action. I love them all dearly.

Now for a quick Sunday update. I've been following Atlantic-Pacific for a while now and am absolutely loving these outfits. I think they are stunning.

I want to redecorate

Do you even wake up one morning (or see a Pottery Barn catalog) and think, man I need to change it up. I mean, I am a grown up now. Then you think frantically of all the great ways you can spruce up your space for less and eventually end up get just a fluffy pillow at Target? Here's to whimsical dreaming of inspiration. If you make them a reality..or not.
I'm loving all these gorgeous spaces.

It's All Relative

Relativity.
It's been the theme of my weekend.
Everything is based off of what you know.
I ripped a beloved pair of jeans this weekend and desperately tried to turn them into shorts,found out I'm in LOVE with stacked wedges (the higher the better), and discovered the MOST comfortable workout pant.
Relatively speaking, it was a good weekend.

With coupons piling up at my house, I made a little trip to DSW. Who knew these shoes are so comfy!

I also scanned this shoe in Delaware's First Nordstorm. Perfect for a summer wedding in the grass.

I spend a lot of my time at the gym, so I'm always on the lookout for functional and fun. These compression pants fit that to a T.

Wished my cut offs looked as cut as these do.

I adore this color combo from Atlantic Pacific. Just stunning.

Flowers are a girl's best friend

It was freezing today
and windy,
cooold
and rainy.

Well I hope these April showers bring on the May flowers.


and a gorgeous rose or hydrangea (cake).

Ice cream/dirt pie flower pots. To be honest, I want any excuse to enjoy one of these treats again.

Maybe a flower pin or a hair tie? I promise not to go overboard.

Alas, I cannot pull off the cinched waist midi, but that doesn't mean that you can't. Ooo how I wish I could.

Wine and Cheese Please

Last week I had a fun wine and cheese night with a friend. I've got another one coming up on Friday and have been thinking about all the fun dishes to bring over. I need to narrow down.

Red Hawk Cheese from Cowgirl creamery is truly delish.

St Nectaire, the new cheese in at Screwtop. They always have the best cheeses.

I bought this dipping oil at the Ferry Building in San Francisco. It is divine for drenching freshly baked french bread in.

I've been reading about kumquats everywhere lately, so I swapped out grapes for these last week. Tart but refreshing.

These little pita crackers from Trader Joe's are the best. Way better then a triscuit.

I recently discovered The Pioneer Women, and this recipe looks so good I just may try and make it soon.

 HOW CUTE is this little cheese tray. I love when something has a surprise to it.

I had this sparkling Pinor Noir 2 years ago in Bermuda and have been hunting for it ever since. It's light and fun, perfect for a girl's wine night.

I'm sure I'll find more things to add to the list across the week. :)
