Almost the weekend. I'm resting the ankle and make progress. Today, was a gorgeous close day here in DC. Perfect weather, breathtaking sunset, and a work HH at the waterfront. Couldn't be better, the perfect mix of end of summer and beginning of fall (see, I'm trying to embrace fall!).

Fantasia

With my foot still out of commission I've been watching loads of movies and TV shows. I watched an entire behind the scenes look at the Disney Imagineers and am TOTALLY in fantasy mode for the fall. Some people have fantasy football, I'm choosing fantasy fashion this fall.

Sweet Dreams

I went to a wonderful wedding for a good friend this weekend. It was in a backyard and had so much character. I loved it. Unfortunately my ankle is still swollen and angry. Gotta get to the doctor.

I'm takeing a minor break from fabulous shoes and inspirationals quotes to get me through my ankle injury. Today I'm loving this increble Micheal Kors buckle ring. It comes in three metals; rose gold,  silver, and gold. At $45 a pop, I think they could pass for grown up friendship rings. Don't you agree?

Bummer

Rough weekend. I sprained my poor little ankle. Trying to keep my head up. Since I can't walk, at least I got to watch the whole season of Game of Thrones. So good. Posting some words of inspiration today.

Alexander Wang Shoes

There is NO bad weather, only BAD clothing

Someone told me this as I got on my flight to Scotland this summer. Needless to say I was horribly clothed for Scotland in June. Don't be fooled, it's still cold then.

With this thought in mind I ventured out to Zara last week in the rain and scored two very weather appropriate fall pieces. I love them so much I can't wait to wear them. Well..... maybe a few more weeks :)

First up, adding some color to fall. I personally am head over heels for orange this season (orange you glad I didn't use a silly joke, haha, too much?) I picked mine up from Zara (have you heard they have online shopping now), but I also love these.

Next up, I was trying on some blazers, because I love nothing more then a good blazer. On a whim I grabbed a snake print blazer with a black collar. As soon as I put it on I knew. It had to be mine. The picture online doesn't look like much, but it's incredible. The fit, the feel, the fabric! I almost fainted in the dressing room. So now I'm going to embrace me some snake prints! Here's what I'm liking.
